What is ELVO?

ELVO is a web design studio that builds immersive websites using motion, 3D and interactive storytelling. The studio designs the story, art direction and build, then launches the site with clean metadata. It also runs a free preview product where you can see one of 18 designs with your own business details.

ELVO is both a design studio and a build partner: it can take a site from a blank page to launch, or rebuild an existing site that no longer fits the business. The catalogue of 18 designs gives most projects a shared starting point. More about the studio is on the about page.

What is a free website preview and how does it work?

A free website preview is a live page built from your own business details on one of ELVO's 18 designs. You open elvodesk.site/pick-a-design, choose a design, enter your business name and details, and the page renders around your content — no account, no payment and no call required.

  • Pick a design from the catalogue of 18.
  • Enter your details — business name, industry and the basics a visitor would see.
  • See it live with your content, then share it or bring it into a build.

The preview is a sandbox for the design decision; a build then replaces placeholders with final copy, brand and assets. See the services page.

How much does an ELVO website cost?

There is no single price, because scope drives cost: the number of pages, whether you need custom 3D or motion, who writes the copy and how much content exists already. ELVO scopes each project from a short brief and quotes a price for that scope. The free preview costs nothing and settles the design direction first.

A single-page build and a multi-page site with custom 3D sit at very different levels of effort. Email elvodesk@gmail.com with your goal and the designs you like for a clear scope and price. The contact page lists what to include.

How long does it take to build a website?

Timelines depend on scope, content readiness and how much custom motion or 3D the site needs. A single landing page moves faster than a multi-page site with bespoke scenes. ELVO confirms a schedule after the brief, and the free preview makes the design decision visible in minutes.

The biggest variable is usually content, not code: copy, photography and product assets. Projects with final content ready move fastest. If you have a launch date, say so in the first email.

Should I start from a template or a fully custom design?

Start from a design when one of the 18 already tells your story — it gives you a working direction immediately. Go custom when the brand, the interaction or the content structure is genuinely different. In both cases ELVO designs and builds around your content; the preview design is a starting point, not a cage.

Can I use my own logo, copy and branding?

Yes. Every ELVO build uses your logo, colours, typography and copy — the 18 designs define layout and interaction, not your identity. If your brand system is strict, ELVO adapts the design to it. If it is loose, the studio can help tighten colour, type and tone during the build.

The live demos use placeholder brands, so what you see is the structure and the motion, not the final look. Your build replaces that with your own assets — a starting design never forces a generic result.

Will my website work on mobile?

Yes. ELVO designs mobile-first: layouts are checked down to 390-pixel screens, text stays readable, tap targets stay comfortable and heavy media loads only when needed. Motion is reduced automatically for visitors who set a reduced-motion preference, so the experience stays comfortable and accessible.

Responsive design is part of the build, not a post-launch fix. It is also why ELVO keeps motion purposeful rather than constant — every effect has to survive a small screen.

Will my website show up in Google and AI search?

Yes — visibility is built into the foundation. ELVO ships real HTML content, one clear H1 per page, descriptive headings, internal links, metadata and JSON-LD structured data. Those are the same signals search engines have always used, and AI answer engines lean on them too.

External evidence points the same way: SE Ranking's 2026 study of 216,000 pages found backlinks to be the strongest predictor of ChatGPT citations. ELVO therefore treats the site, your profiles and your mentions as one visibility system. The services page covers launch.

What is an immersive website, and will motion slow it down?

An immersive website is one where story and interaction are part of the design, not decoration: scroll-driven sequences, 3D product scenes and deliberate transitions. Done well, it stays fast — media loads on demand, code splits by section and animation runs on the compositor. Done badly, it is a heavy site with effects bolted on.

  • Motion explains or reveals. Animation is used to guide attention, never to make people wait.
  • 3D loads progressively. Scenes appear when they are needed and degrade gracefully on weaker devices.
  • Performance is checked. Real devices and real connections, before launch — not just a fast office laptop.

The test: if an effect does not help the visitor understand the offer or feel the brand, it does not ship. See the restraint in the live demos.

How do I start a project with ELVO?

Start with the free preview at elvodesk.site/pick-a-design: pick a design, enter your business details and see a live page. Then email elvodesk@gmail.com with a short brief — your business, the goal of the site and any designs you liked. You can also message @elvodesk.site on Instagram.

Expect a reply with clarifying questions, a scope and next steps. If you are not sure which design fits, say so — recommending a direction is part of the service. The contact page has a checklist for the brief.
